Diversity Statement of the Boy Scouts of America

The Boy Scouts of America will dedicate itself to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity that helps make it a great place to work and a valuable member of the communities it serves.

We do this by ensuring that all people involved in the Scouting program are treated with respect and understanding, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, religion, physical ability, or political belief.

The Boy Scouts of America will seek to create a positive and welcoming environment toward those who have not yet experienced Scouting and whose backgrounds and experiences will enrich our movement and help us to serve more youth.
