Forest Lawn Scout Reservation & Activities
Forest Lawn Scout Reservation is located 3 miles East of Lake arrowhead, CA on more than 2,000 acres in the San Bernardino National Forest. Although it is referred to as a Boy Scout Camp, it is a collection of camps, each designed for different activities and age groups.
Circle X is the Main Boy Scout Camp on the property, offering the most amount of Merit Badges as well as Pathfinder and many other activities.
Camp Pollock functions as both a Cub Scout and boy Scout camp depending on the week. Pollock features an impressive indoor climbing wall and a slew of merit badges as well as Thunderbird Lake.
Camp Pepperdine is Home to the High Adventure programs including the John Wayne Outpost, Backpacking Adventures, the horseback Overnighter, the Venturing Program, and High and Low C.O.P.E.
Camp Staff - Work at Camp
Greater Los Angeles Area Council hires nearly 200 enthusiastic seasonal camp staff annually to serve as handicraft assistants, sports instructors, shooting sports assistants (archery, .22 caliber rifle, BB gun, skeet and black-powder), trading post operators/managers, maintenance and food service assistants, nature instructors and Scout skills instructors, lifeguards and aquatic instructors.
